Emma is a Director in our EMEA Retail Investment team at JLL. The team is a central function that works alongside the sector in-country leads to drive our retail business across EMEA. The role involves coordinating retail deals of scale, building relationships with senior stakeholders for the most active and capable retail investors in today’s market and coordinating the team of retail experts across the region.
Emma also sits on the JLL European Strategy Board as D&I Lead, chairing a committee of colleagues across EMEA to champion, harness and drive our innovation in this space at country level. Emma was also the NextGen Chair for ICSC Europe.
In 2017, Emma founded the women’s network Ladies-who-Launch – a platform designed to inspire and connect women across multiple sectors and to help foster a collective conversation around how we can all drive change. Being in peak family chapter at the moment, this passion project is on pause but, Emma looks forward to reviving this space in her next parental leave.
Outside of work, Emma has recently relocated to Munich – although travels to London and other European capitals frequently as part of her role. She speaks fluent French, and the opposite of fluent German but is working on it! She loves spending time outdoors, soaking in the scenery that Bavaria has to offer and finding time away from all the screens. She has an 18month old son and a second baby boy due in June, but truth is her first baby was her four legged Romanian rescue dog Maggie.
