Christine Williams

Enterprise Shared Services, Project Manager

Christine is a senior construction professional underpinned with strong project and programme management.  She has over 30 years’ experience working, predominantly in the private sector, throughout Great Britain and Ireland on complex multi-project contracts, up to £400m in value. 

In the private sector she worked primarily as a Bid Manager gaining extensive experience and developing skills to communicate with clients, stakeholders, professional consultants and the delivery supply chain.

She currently works in the public sector as a Client Project Manager within a programme to reform the public sector office estate and is delivering projects to facilitate hybrid working.

One of her favourite projects, her “baby”, was the Odyssey Millennium Project (Belfast), which was the only millennium project that was completed on time.  She worked initially on the bid and then on the project itself as a Planner, Quality Manager and Information Manager, developing a document database to manage 7,000 documents and 110,000 distributions.

Her professional achievements include being the first female Chair of the Ireland Branch of the CIOB and is a trustee for CIOB Assist.  She is a fellow of the CIOB and a member of APM. 

Outside work she horse rides, cycles and walks.  She is also Girl Guide leader and, as a result of working on the Odyssey, is a season ticket holder for the Belfast Giants Ice Hockey team.
