Upinder Ubhi is a Director at Sweco UK, Europe’s leading design, engineering, environment and regulatory consultancy. Upinder has over 20 years’ experience in Development planning, specifically transport planning and highways. She leads Sweco’s Transport Planning business in England.
With a degree in Civil Engineering, Design and Project Management, Upinder has led a number of large complex development projects including town and city regeneration schemes. Her experience spans the development process, from early-stage feasibility studies, through to the planning process, as well as detailed design and construction.
Upinder’s career has seen her working across a number of sectors with clients such as Royal Mail, Taylor Wimpey, LandSec, British Land and Stanhope. She is passionate about supporting females within the property and built environment industry.
In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit, travelling and gardening.
