Gemma is a Partner in RLB’s London Cost Management Team. Gemma leads RLB’s London Public Sector Cost Management Team, with a broad spectrum of experience across Public, Commercial and Heritage.
Gemma has over 20 years’ experience in Cost Management, with core skills in people management and problem solving. Gemma is often parachuted into complex projects or environments where collaboration and strong stakeholder management are key.
Gemma’s career has seen her working with clients such as BBC, Royal Mail, various Universities and Borough Councils, through to complex Data Centres and even Battersea Power Station, where she managed the Site Wide Infrastructure including the Main Energy Centre. One of Gemma’s early career highlights was working client side for Historic Royal Palaces, where she became chartered. Gemma very much enjoyed having an office within Hampton Court Palace and Tower of London. A recent highlight is that RLB have moved to the iconic building, The Shard.
Gemma’ clients provide personal feedback on her contribution, complimenting her strategic input, representation of her company, her strong core cost consultancy skills, and high emotional intelligence. Gemma believes these are also skills that help her with mentoring, which she enjoys doing inside and outside of her business.
Gemma has one son (15), a stepson (15), a fiancé, two dogs and four cats.
