Amy Cooper is the Head of London Project Management for Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in commercial real estate services. Heading up the London Project Management team, Amy is responsible for a team of Project Managers working across both Occupier and Investor projects. Following a Sandwich Placement at GVA Grimley (now Avison Young), Amy started on their graduate scheme in 2002 and became a Chartered Building Surveyor. After a sabbatical travelling, Amy joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2009 in their Building Consultancy team before moving into Project Management. In 2018, Amy became the first female Project Manager Partner in London.
Amy has a strong bias towards Occupier Clients and specialises in Occupier refurbishments and relocations in London and the South East. Amy has worked for clients including Mastercard, Boden, Sony Pictures Entertainment, William Blair, PaymentSense and Eversheds Sutherland. Working with her clients to understand their brief, she provides accommodation strategic advice, stay v go and refurbishment feasibility studies and pulls together multi-disciplinary teams to deliver client tailored accommodation solutions.
Amy is also a wife and mother of two children aged four and seven. She is an advocate of supporting women in property and construction and working mothers. Amy hopes that in her role as Head of Project Management, she will be able to encourage more women, not just into the profession, but retaining these women past Senior Project Manager level into management positions.
