Annie is Group Brand & Marketing Director of The Donaldson Group. This includes a portfolio of diverse, market-leading and specialist businesses within the construction industry. Operating 47 sites right across the UK and with over 1500 colleagues, the mix of eCommerce, retail sites, trade and manufacturing businesses extend throughout the UK and Europe.  These include:


– Kitchens International – luxury kitchens and interiors retail business
– MGM Timber – timber focussed builders merchant
– Donaldson Timber Systems – timber frame housing
– Perform Panel – wet wall panels
– Donaldson Timber Engineering- roof trusses and joists
– James Donaldson Timber – importing timber for UK market

– Optima Kitchens – retail kitchen seller

I am passionate about doing better. Pushing myself, developing brands and marketing strategies to aid business growth. I personally imagined and led the creation a commercialised marketing platform – integrating real-time data from sales CRMs, website analytics, social media platforms, PPC and SEO analytics, as well as event and HubSpot communications data. The platform enables my team, and the broader organisation, to track the impact of our marketing spend in real-time. This data-driven approach enhances credibility to the work we deliver. It fosters a deeper understanding of the value of investment for future growth and ultimately contributes to increased marketing and commercial success.


I love my work as I’m often surrounded by creative people who think beyond the ordinary. I’ve often found myself working with people who are also musicians or artists or authors. I myself have creative outlets in house design and architecture, cooking for friends and family, and a continual desire to try and get better at running… though this just seems like hard work!
