Caterina is an architect and urban designer with twenty years’ experience working on a wide range of projects from large-scale masterplanning and regeneration schemes through to architecture and interior design.
In the UK, her work has focused on leading transformational mixed-use developments, including High Street Quarter and Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow, the Rochdale Riverside mixed-use quarter near Manchester and the reimagining of Rackhams department store in Birmingham, as well as the regeneration of Luton and Camberley town centres. Abroad Caterina has led mixed-use projects in Italy, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Turkey, Bahrain, UAE, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Thailand.
She regularly attends international industry events like MAPIC, MIPIM, REVO, ULI, and is a member of REVO Repurposing & Regeneration committee and also attended panels at various industry and academic events including BISNOW and London Universities.
As a member of the architectural NGOs Article 25 (Development & Disaster Relief) and Architecture Sans Frontières UK, Caterina has been involved in community and regeneration work overseas. She is currently collaborating with LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security on a research project about Architecture and Peace: how design can address gender inequalities. Caterina also leads mentoring programmes within tp bennett and externally collaborates with RIBA, Westminster University, London School of Architecture, Women in Property and Real Estate Balance.

• Active member of Women in Property, part of the Boardroom Forum discussing and implementing mentoring initiatives in within the organisation. She has delivered and organised Webinars for WIP on behalf of tp bennett.
• Currently responsible for coordinating the Women in Property Student Awards on behalf of tp bennett as national sponsor
• Key contact personnel for Real Estate Balance. Caterina has attended speed mentoring events at Real Estate Balance, these have developed into mentoring relationships with mentees from the construction industry.
• Leads the in-house Women in Architecture and Design Group with the aim to enhance women’s mutual support in the construction industry, closely working with HR to implement internal policies.
• Responsible for setting and overseeing the tp bennett mentoring programmes for part 1, part 2, part 3 and for all qualified members of staff.
• Advised the RIBA on their mentoring schemes and became RIBA Ambassador for tp bennett, introducing the built environment to primary and secondary school students by delivering regular workshops throughout the academic year.
• Part of the funding group for RIBA Parents Hub on behalf of tp bennett.
• Mentor for postgraduate students at Westminster University
• Responsible for coordinating the relationship with London School of Architecture where she is also an external examiner. The LSA has as one of the main selection criteria a positive discrimination at entry point with the aim to achieve a 50-50 split by 2025
