Claire is one of the founding Directors of Quod a specialist independent consultancy in planning and development economics with offices in London and Leeds. Claire heads up Quod’s Development Economics team leading on the assessment, negotiation, funding and implementation of affordable housing on a diverse range of schemes across the country including some of the most challenging and exciting development and regeneration projects in London. Claire loves to work with visionary, ambitious and interesting clients to deliver projects such as Battersea Power Station, Stratford City/Olympic Village, King’s Cross, Wembley, Earls Court, Brent Cross and many more. Prior to forming Quod Claire worked in a range of planning and regeneration roles for large corporates, RPS and Avison Young, and smaller niche consultancies Abros financial advisory and Level.
Claire has nearly 25 years experience in the development sector and she holds qualifications in City and Regional Planning from Cardiff University. Claire is committed to working to achieve positive change through her projects and in the workplace. During her career, Claire has strived to promote the importance of balance between work and home and is testament of what can be achieved through flexible working practices.
Claire combines a busy working life with being a single mum to three boys, 10 year old twins and a 14 year old (and a gorgeous cockapoo). Whilst Claire’s work has always been London based she lives in on the south coast in Poole ensuring she is close to her family and the beautiful beaches.
