Daphne Thissen is the founder and director of Thissen Consulting, an independent client feedback agency providing one to one client feedback in the construction industry.
Her initial foray into the private sector centred on training, coaching and building international partnerships, focusing mainly on soft skills used in business and client relationship development. Before starting her own business, she worked for the
Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UK, facilitating and sponsoring UK and Dutch collaborations in design, architecture and the arts.
Since she started interviewing clients on behalf of her customers, she has generated over 200 reports, and helped improve relationships, interaction and future work prospects, for companies delivering consultancy services, engineering and architecture in the UK and globally.
Daphne’s love of architecture and buildings came through her training as an architectural historian at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Two board memberships, one at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill and one at the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, mean she remains involved in the creative industries.
Daphne is a born networker! With a genuine interest in people and a knack for building alliances and connections, she is always keen to make relevant and interesting introductions.
