Emma Sellick

Executive Director, TSA Riley

Emma is an Executive Director at TSA Riley, a global project consulting business helping clients drive greater value and impact from their built assets.

TSA Riley has a 130-year heritage dating back to 1890 when Henry Riley Esq first established a quantity surveying practice in London. Emma, the first female quantity surveyor in the business, joined over three decades ago. Her career has seen many firsts including becoming the practice’s first female Partner and its first female Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2019. In her early career she was often based on site, including notably at the remodelling of the Grade 1 listed Royal Exchange Building in the City of London, and extensively managed costs on Sainsbury’s projects, including Scotland’s first superstore.

Emma has been a member of the UK Leadership team for 7 years and is dedicated to ensuring that TSA Riley delivers an exceptional, and personalised service to the highest professional standards. Her role includes identifying and mitigating day to day operational risks as well as managing principal risks associated with business strategy. Recently she has been focused on the merging of other advisory firms into the TSA Riley business.

Committed to supporting and inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in the construction industry, Emma has been involved with the Mentoring Circle since its inception and serves as the executive representative of RISE, TSA Riley’s women leaders’ group. She is passionate about removing barriers for women to achieve long and successful careers in the industry.
