Fiona is the Group Financial Controller for Stanhope. She is a Chartered Accountant and member of the ICAEW. Prior to Stanhope she worked in audit at Grant Thornton UK LLP.
Since joining Stanhope in 2016, Fiona has been involved in a number of different projects including White City Place, Television Centre, Bloomberg, British Library, Hammersmith and Fulham and Station Hill, as well as Corporate Matters for Stanhope. On these projects, Fiona has overall responsibility for the management accounts, financial statements, payment processing, tax as well as coordinating and managing external providers including tax advisors, managing agents and Administrative Service Providers in the UK and aboard. Fiona also has a company secretarial role, including preparing Board Papers and minutes, making recommendations to the Board and attending Board meetings. She has also assisted the Board, lawyers and tax advisors on complicated acquisitions, restructuring and disposals.
In Fiona’s spare time she enjoys keeping herself busy and active whether it is pottery classes, organising social events, gardening , interior design, travelling or exhibitions. She has also been involved in mentoring and tutoring young children from low income backgrounds in London.
