Katy Dowding started her career over 30 years ago as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and is now Executive Vice President at Construction and Development company Skanska with responsibility for all Building, Building Services and Utilities operations in the UK. She is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, was named the Women in the City ‘Woman of Achievement’ in 2013 and BIFM Leader of the year in 2016. Katy is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and for furthering Women’s and LGBTQ+ communities in Construction.
As someone who has benefitted from being mentored and mentoring throughout her career, she is excited to be involved in Mentoring Circle and believes passionately that there are equal benefits from the reverse mentoring too.
