Kim Grieveson

Avison Young, Principal

Kim is a Principal within the Land and Development Team at Avison Young (AY). Prior to joining AY Kim worked within the Development Team at BNP Paribas for seven years.

Kim is passionate about helping public sector clients to deliver housing and regenerate their local areas through better use of assets and internal skills sets.

She is a firm believer that too often opportunities remain unfulfilled due to political wrangling and internal posturing rather than genuine issues over supply, demand and viability.

Kim works with a range of local authority clients, development corporations and public institutions to help ‘unlock’ their property issues.

She is proud to have worked on some major regeneration projects across the South East such as the redevelopment of the Winstanley and York Road Estates in Clapham Junction, unlocking 1,500 new homes, the development of Thamesmead Waterfront to deliver 11,500 homes and is currently supporting Ebbsfleet Development Corporation in the delivery of their vision for 15,000 new homes which will be a new benchmark for sustainable development across the 21st Century.

Kim fundamentally believes the last two years have taught us that the property industry is evolving at a super charged rate with new ways or working, living and coexisting emerging before our eyes. Sadly, she feels the property profession is not keeping pace with this change and still remains outdated in its approach to delivery, problem solving and the structures and hierarchies that continue to bind HOW we do business and WHO does business.

Kim joined Mentoring Circle to help drive forward future female leaders who can continue to redress the issues our profession faces and to ensure that we are able to harness the right talent to respond to the ever-changing needs of our industry.
