
Oona Collins is founder and director of Potential Plus International a leadership development consultancy specialising in developing emotional intelligent leaders and high performing executive teams. She is a global leadership coach working with multi-national organisations and entrepreneurs. Clients include Knight Frank, Legal & General, La Salle, RBS, NatWest Markets, Virgin Atlantic and AON.
Prior to setting up her consultancy in 2001, Oona spent 15 years in executive positions in the property sector in the UK and Asia. During this time she worked with multinational agencies and developers. This included running the Far East Division of Cluttons London Residential and launched its Singapore Office. She led multi-cultural teams in the acquisition and sale of multi-million pound development schemes and latterly held the role of Group Training Director at Hamptons International.
Oona has coached people from over 30 different nationalities and has lived and worked in Australia, Canada, Asia, Europe and the USA.
Oona comes from an entrepreneurial family who embedded her belief that anything is possible, and this forms the basis of her role as a mentor and coach. Oona has carved out a niche working with women leaders who are seeking to influence those around them in order to impact their career.
Much of her work starts with helping her clients understand their motivations, drivers and values, so that they are able to realise exactly what they want success to look like. Her specialty in emotional intelligence and influence has assisted many clients transition into new roles, build relationships with critical stakeholders and prepare for succession. She has studied non-verbal intelligence and incorporates this into her coaching with strategies for resilient leadership, especially when challenges arise. She qualified as a professional certified coach with the ICF in 2005 and holds a Non-Executive Directorship.
