Rachel Bell is an Architect, Director and Head of Business Development at Stride Treglown. Rachel trained as an architect and has worked at Stride Treglown for over 20 years with varied experience across many sectors including, education, retail, transport, defence and leisure. Leading the Winning Work team alongside two fellow directors, Rachel believes in building a positive client relationship to help overcome those project hurdles as well as a continued pipeline of work.
Beyond her day job, Rachel supports numerous initiatives in the industry. She is currently on the SW Regional Board for LandAid and the National Chair with Women in Property 2021/22.
As a visible industry role model, Rachel has won many awards and accolades for her contributions including being named one of the 2019 Property Week Resi Trailblazers and SW Insider Property Personality in 2018. She was a finalist in the 2018 WICE awards category for best female mentor, 2019 finalist in the WICE Best female Business Development category and was been shortlisted as a role model as part of UK Construction Week in 2018. Rachel was also shortlisted for Architect of the Year as part of the 2014 Women in Construction Awards.
Rachel is enthusiastic about all things transportation, her secondment as a design manager to Heathrow was a career highlight. She is a covert railway enthusiast and a proud shareholder in the West Somerset Railway. In her spare time Rachel is a fantastic home baker, an avid chicken keeper, and relaxes by practicing yoga.
