Rowan joined Laing O’Rourke in September 2020 as the Group Chief Financial Officer. Rowan is also a member of the Group Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, the Group Compliance Committee, and the Europe and Australia Hub Executive Committees. An experienced finance executive, Rowan was previously Chief Financial Officer at McCarthy & Stone Plc where she played a key role in the company’s successful IPO in 2015. Prior to joining McCarthy & Stone in 2012, she worked in finance for Barclays Bank Plc and PwC. Rowan is a qualified accountant (FCA) and chartered tax advisor (CTA). Rowan is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Vistry Group Plc.
