Roxanne Quesnel is a director, PM Board member and co-lead of the Addressing the Gender Balance working group at Turner & Townsend. Over the last 20 years Roxanne has worked in a variety of sectors which include corporate fit-out, retail, education and regeneration and has led major projects and programmes on behalf of clients. She is the UK Occupier sector lead as well as the business unit lead for the London Occupier project management team of over 45 project managers, delivering fit-out projects for global and UK based clients.
Roxanne started her career in finance and after working on a major redevelopment project in a finance capacity as a qualified accountant, decided to change careers. Whilst working full time as an accountant, over 4 years she studied for a BSc Construction Management, achieved 1st class honours and made the plunge to change careers and become a project manager. Already in an established finance career, and leveraging her finance background, her project management career began in the regeneration sector with Currie & Brown in 2005.
Joining Turner & Townsend as a project manager in 2007, she moved in to pure project and programme delivery, then in 2014 became a director and the first female business unit lead to be appointed within the UK real estate project management division.
Having had some great mentors in her life who have helped to shape her career, she is passionate about mentoring others to achieve their full potential, and believes it is never too late to pursue your career ambitions and be a success.
