Susie loves developing and delivering energy projects and works as the Managing Director of the BlueFloat Energy | Nadara Partnership, a developer of 5 floating wind projects in Scottish waters as well as holding several cross industry roles including non-executive director roles at Renewable UK, Scottish Renewables (both trade associations) and as Vice Chair of the Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC), which is chaired by the Secretary of State for Energy and Net Zero, Ed Miliband and brings together industry and the UK Government to advance the delivery of offshore wind in the UK.
Susie has worked in the energy sector for over 15 years across development, construction, operations and decommissioning of projects from wind and other renewables to nuclear and spent most of this time at EDF, running the legal function and latterly the Nuclear Decommissioning business. She has also founded a business in healthcare with her brothers among other clinicians.
Susie loves working in teams that are performance driven whilst having fun along the way. Her executive education at Yale, Esade and the University of Edinburgh Business School fuelled her interest in the way team dynamics and psychological safety can drive performance. She has 3 teenage boys and spends most of her spare time watching and playing sport including golf, cricket, padel and squash.
