Teri is the owner of Porter Planning, a town planning consultancy established in 2019. Teri provides advice to landowners, developers and investors across all sectors and throughout the UK. This covers a wide range of projects, from small changes of use to large and complex developments.
Teri has over 25 years of experience in the planning profession. She became a Chartered Planner in 2000 while working with James Barr Chartered Surveyors. After a period specialising in telecommunications with Stappard Howes and Vodafone, Teri joined CBRE, with periods in their Scottish and London offices. She went on to lead CBRE’s Planning and Development team in Scotland before founding Porter Planning 6 years ago.
Teri has a busy family life in Glasgow co-parenting two teenage children, Emily and Lachlan. She loves plotting travel and adventures with her kids with their most recent Teri surviving a jungle trip with her teens in Borneo! Outwith work and kids, Teri spends most of her time with friends at any live performance or sporty activity.
