Vanessa Murray

The Circle Partnership Co-Founder

Vanessa is a chartered surveyor and social enterprise leader with 15 years of experience spanning asset management, property management, and leadership development within the Built Environment.

Most recently, she was Senior Asset Manager at Stanhope Plc—one of London’s leading developers and investors—where she played a key role in establishing the firm’s Asset Management function and led on high-profile commercial and mixed-use assets, including Television Centre and 8 Bishopsgate.

Coming into the industry with a non-cognate degree and no existing network, Vanessa experienced firsthand the barriers many women face when building careers in property—especially at senior levels. In response, she founded The Circle Partnership in 2020 to support mid-career female professionals through meaningful, practical development.

Vanessa oversees the Operational Management of the business and co-leads The Circle Academy—a research-backed, 12-month development programme that has already supported over 500 women across the UK. A trained professional coach, Vanessa works alongside her business partner Ceri Moyers to drive lasting change in the culture, diversity, and leadership capacity of the Built Environment through a collaborative, values-led approach.
