Vanessa worked in Real Estate for 15 years, most recently as Senior Asset Manager for Stanhope Plc, a property developer and investor who deliver large scale commercial and mixed use construction projects across the UK. Prior to joining Stanhope Vanessa spent 10 years specialising in Property Management focussing on delivering operational excellence across high-end commercial portfolios, stand-alone assets and mixed-use estates.
With a non-cognate degree and no connections to the surveying world, her first few years working in property were particularly challenging. The difficulty of building a network from scratch and the lack of access to senior female leadership was the inspiration behind The Circle Partnership, an organisation that Vanessa founded in 2020 to provide support and guidance for junior women in the industry from women in senior leadership roles.
Vanessa trained as a professional coach and oversees the operational management of the business. She runs the organisation with friend and business partner Ceri Moyers and together they are focussed on delivering lasting change to the long- term composition, culture and capacity of the Built Environment

Ceri joined The Circle Partnership as a Director in 2022. She takes ownership for the ongoing development of The Circle Partnership’s Academy programme as well as the advisory, training and coaching support offered through Mentoring Circle and Development Circle. Vanessa and Ceri take joint responsibility for The Circle Partnership’s strategy and long-term growth, supported by their Advisory Board.
Ceri has spent all of her career in construction and real estate, and has experience and expertise in corporate communications, coaching and organisational development. From her lived experience, she is passionate about both the need and opportunity for change that exists via a more gender diverse workforce, and inspired by the role that The Circle Partnership is playing in enabling this.
Ceri qualified as a coach in 2014 with the internationally recognised Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is accredited with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Her coaching approach is strengths based and borrows from the principles of positive psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Her coaching clients range from management to C-Suite level and come from businesses including Grosvenor, Soho House, Laing O’Rourke, Multiplex, Westfield URW, Global Switch, Refugee Action and Berkeley Group.

Jo is our personal assistant and has over two decades of experience working in administration, technology and tight deadlines. Jo supports The Circle Partnership team with a lot of the behind-the-scenes work and loves everything techy including WordPress website creation, management & hosting, newsletters, images, social media and more! She helps us keep on top of all our every day tasks and generally keep us on the straight and narrow with her upbeat and can do approach.
